Make a difference in the lives of people needing second chances at the East Texas Treatment Facility in Henderson, Texas, operated by Management & Training Corporation.What you'll do: You'll be responsible for clerical tasks, systems and procedures related to the count room in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) directives.Essential functions:Assist supervisor with strength logs, count board, and records maintenance as assigned.Input incoming offenders into and remove outgoing offenders from required databases.Track number of hours offenders work in an assigned job.Perform count room duties to assist with obtaining an accurate facility offender count.Operate office equipment such as personal computers, fax and copy machines and scanners.Perform data entry. Process information and paperwork to ensure accurate record keeping.Assist with processing incoming and outgoing inmates. Prepare intake forms. Proofread documents including arrival and release files; copy needed information from one record to another as required.Education and experience requirements:Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED.One (1) year related experience, including word processing or computer data entry experience required.Valid driver's license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
