Red River Brick, the premier brand of the General Shale network and a leading manufacturer of brick and masonry materials, is seeking an Assistant Plant Manager for our manufacturing facility in Henderson, TX. Successful candidates will report directly to the Plant Manager and will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing operations at the plant.

Responsibilities include:

1. Motivating and directing employees to ensure compliance with production, quality, safety policies, and company rules.
2. Coordinating maintenance work and ensuring equipment is properly maintained.
3. Applying problem-solving and critical thinking to improve processes and safety issues.
4. Organizing production schedules to maximize equipment and personnel utilization.
5. Maintaining production inventory accuracy through physical counts and adjustments.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. An Associate or Bachelor degree in Industrial Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
3. Excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and mechanical aptitude.
4. Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and robotics is a plus.
5. Experience in masonry materials manufacturing is preferred.
