Our headquarters is in Jacksonville, Texas. We are centrally located in the rolling hills of east Texas, not far from Interstate 20, two hours east of Dallas and four hours north of Houston. We also maintain a manufacturing and distribution plant in Plant City, Florida.

This Role:

Our manufacturing team is seeking a EHS Site Coordinator. This would be a full-time, on-site role located in Jacksonville, TX.

What You Will Do:

The EHS Site Coordinator will lead various assignments and projects in support of plant safety and environmental goals. This role will work with various programs and policies, research a variety of EHS related components, participate in and lead various programs to assist in achieving our goals.

How You Will Do It:

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations related to waste management, air quality, and water discharge.
• Conduct environmental audits and assessments to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee hazardous waste disposal and recycling programs, ensuring proper handling, storage, and documentation.
• Prepare and submit required environmental reports and maintain accurate records of environmental activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety programs to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
• Maintain and improve the corporate environmental management system. Collect environmental data for use in determining root-causes of compliance problems and pollution prevention opportunities. Implement proactive corrective steps.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in the Occupational Safety and Health discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five to Ten years of safety and/or environmental experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Working knowledge and experience with behavior-based safety program preferred.
• Effective and professional communication and organization skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Specialized safety training and certification from a recognized institute will have an added advantage
